With all the screensavers on the market today, SereneScreen Marine Aquarium is by far the most realistic. Marine Aquarium converts your computer screen into a vibrant and realistic saltwater aquarium. Complete with a library of 26 colorful and exotic species of fish, the demo version of Marine Aquarium can display up to three fish at a time and up to seven with the registered version. We were impressed with the complex animation of the fish and the three-dimensional formations of coral and algae that help make the aquarium indescribably realistic. Other details can be added such as variable lighting, frame rates, and the sounds of a bubbling aerator. The new version gives you the ability to run the aquarium as a screensaver or as a standalone program. Although we would like to see even more options, including the ability to create your own underwater environments, Marine Aquarium is one of the best screensavers we’ve seen. The fact that you don’t have to clean the aquarium only sweetens the deal.
